The real problem is that our illustrious HC and spec teams coach love to go with an experienced player rather then a guy with a great leg. It has happened before and hopfully will not happen again!

experience is crap look what its doing to the yankees bringing in 36yr old vets left and right and loosing. besides graham is experienced with aussie and afl leauges. learning a few different rules is not something difficult and challenging cmon, punting is not like playing LB you pick it up right away with the right equipment (strong leg....... about it) which graham definately has 80yds+ DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!!!!!!!!!! we could possibly never have the opposing team start their drive outside their 20 off a punt.

Graham also has decent arm strength from aussie leauge so.... FAKIES!!!!!
and he can drop kick also, so maby just maby 60yf fg???

you show me a clip or video of nuuuuug kicking a 60yder or even a 55yder the longest i think he's ever made was a 51 and he had the wind @ his back, graham could dropkick a 60yd helicopter fg if we were in a tight situation

    Mike Nugent Grade: 3.59
    Position: PK
    Class: Sr
    School: Ohio St.
    Conference: Big Ten
    Ht., Wt.: 5-9.5, 175
    40 Time: 4.81
    Selected by: New York Jets
    Round 2, pick 15 (47 overall)
    Grading System

BIO: All-Conference selection who led Ohio State in scoring hitting on 90 percent of his field goals and not missing an extra point. Longest field goal was 55 yards last season, a career best.

POSITIVES: Consistent field-goal kicker with an accurate leg. Reliable outside of fifty yards and puts them through the uprights with room to spare. Gets field goals off cleanly, even with a poor snap. Consistently puts the kickoffs into the end zone from the college mark. Handles pressure well.

This was from one of the pre-draft write ups this past Spring....I believe he can kick a 60 yarder.

believing is different from knowing, i would rather have graham drop kick a 60yd fg than nugent attempt a standard 60yd fg if the game were on the line. graham punts go between 65 and 80yds he can nugent cant. but i understand you think he can although all evidence from nuuuug's college carrier state he cant

ok so his long was 55yrds not 51, but 55 is 5 less than 60, and i bet that 55yder barely got above the crossbar or he had the wind to his back,

No mention of cross bar crossing height or wind direction.....ONLY THAT HE MADE THE F-CKING FG. Gimme a break already...I am done with this. The kid is a legit LONG RANGE kicker.
