Rhodes is the real deal/ Law some Safety?

Rhodes added to the secondary adds some pop to the safety position,

and Law will see some action there......they love this kid Miller for cb.

Law is not playing safety this year..They just cut 2 corners in Mickens and Hunter...We know Strait is our nickel and Miller is just A rookie...

Law will start at corner and will only play corner this year...

Good to see ya again, "ROCKVilmaROCK".........

This deal makes me feel that the front office thinks Rhodes is the real deal.

    "Walz-y" would be proud!!!!!!!

No Way Law will play safety.

on the Jets site (NFL.Com) it says that Celestin is currently first on the depth chart with McGrwas departure....of course that means little till about the third pre season when we'll really have a solid idea of where particular players will be.

current locked starters for opening day.

    CB-Law
    CB-Barrett
    S-Coleman

The question will be who the other safety will be......regardless it will be a player with skills. our secondary just went from being ok to possibly being an elite unit.

Yes. Law will only play corner. As far as Rhodes goes, I know we all think he's gonna be a player, but wasn't the knock on him that he wasn't physical enough yet?

The odds are he will not be ready by opening day. Not only is he not in football shape yet, but he has to pick up the defense and get comfortable with the guys around him.

The next two weeks of camp will tell the tale.

IMO by the "Bye week" week 8, Miller will play some nickel, Henderson will use Miller or Strait depending on matchups. At that point I can see Strait playing a little safety. I think Strait playing safety has a higher probability than Law.

Miller will get plenty of playing time especially later in the season. I don't think I see much nickle in his near future. He's to raw to handle all the responsibilities of the nickle. Our DBs this year are so exciting. We've ridded ourselves of the old predictables and now have some potentially explosive youth. can't wait for FRIDAY!!!

Don't be surprise if you see Ty Law playing safety in some situation. Henu like to mix it up little to confuse the offense and match up situation. Also went law was being interview he said, he will play were ever they wanted him on the field, at Safety and Corner.

Like someone reported from Jets TC that some time Henu had 3 Safety and 1 Corner in some situation. So you never know what he might do.
