Less than a week after losing one of their own practice players, DT Antonio Garay, to the San Diego Chargers, the Jets did the same to the Dallas Cowboys.   The Jets sent out the following press release, less than an hour ago.

Dec. 15, 2009 — The New York Jets have signed RB Chauncey Washington from the Dallas Cowboys practice squad. The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Washington (5-11/222/Southern California/Torrance, CA), has spent time on the Dallas Cowboys active roster and practice squad in 2009.  He was originally drafted by the Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2008 draft (213 overall), before being waived on Sept. 5, 2009.  In six games with Jacksonville, Washington had nine rushes for nine yards, one reception for nine yards and three special teams tackles.
